Apple iphone 15 release date and features

The iPhone 15 might still be far out in the future, but Apple is preparing big changes and we are already seeing the first leaks and rumors pop up.

So what will be new in the iPhone 15 series and when is it coming? The iPhone 15 family is expected to launch in the fall of 2023 featuring four models, just like the iPhone 14 series before it. Some slight design tweaks are due, but the bigger changes will be on the inside.

Here is a quick summary: first and cheapest comes a 6.1-inch iPhone 15, then, a larger, 6.7-inch iPhone 15 Plus with a bigger battery, and then again a 6.1-inch iPhone 15 Pro with a faster chip, better cameras and other advanced features, and the most expensive in the bunch will be the large and powerful iPhone 15 Ultra. Yes, Ultra. Apple used the Pro Max name before, but it is likely to switch to "Ultra" to signal the bigger upgrades in this model, but also possibly a higher price.

All four models will also come with a USB-C type connector, replacing the Lightning port that Apple has used for nearly a decade! Most other gadgets in the world use a USB-C port, so this might actually help reduce clutter in your drawer. It's also possible that Apple replaces the physical volume and power buttons with haptic buttons, like that Touch ID button on the iPhone 7/8 series!

What else will be new? And how will the iPhone 15 series change from the iPhone 14? Read on for the details! And don't forget that we continuously update this page as new info comes in.
